Fees and registration

All participants, presenters and exhibitors must register for the conference and pay the registration fee. As FEM 2021 is not a fair, entrance to the conference and trade show is open only for registered participants wearing the event name badge. FEM 2021 fees will be published by the end of 2020.

*  Participant fee includes programme, trade show, information package, lunches on Wednesday and Thursday, refreshments during breaks and the Ice-breaker Party on Tuesday 2 November 2021. The conference dinner, Fennoscandian Mining Night, has a separate price/person.

** Student registration fee is applied to full-time undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students. Please provide proof of a full-time student status (ID card or letter from your institution or program director). NB! If you register as student with lower registration fee, your job title should be student and organization the school in which you are studying.

Participants are encouraged to register in advance and as early as possible in order to benefit from lower registration fees as well as cheaper flight costs.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be made in writing. Registration fee will be refunded if cancellation is received before 1 September 2021. No refunds will be made after this date. Please note that a processing fee of 50 € will be deducted from all refunds.

Delegates are responsible for their own safety and belongings. The registration fee does not cover insurance for the delegates. The organizers recommend that delegates take out insurance in their home country to cover pre-journey cancellation for personal reasons and necessary insurance to cover accidents, medical expenses and loss of personal belongings during the visit.

Force majeure
The organizers are not liable for any claims for damages and/or losses if the entire conference has to be cancelled due to a force majeure incident.
